Quote: This discussion is probably going to be very important for iOS users, since Apple just released iOS 18. I haven't tried it yet.
Not really, I upgraded everything to iOS 18 last week when they released the RC and there is no issues with DVD Profiler on iOS as far as I can see. Well no differences than what was already there.
It works perfectly for me, however I enter everything on the Desktop App, sync to the server, then use the iOS app and download my collection to my iPhone/Ipad. | Posted: Topic Replies: 92, Topic Views: 15355 | | Unfortunately I haven't had good exchanges with Collectorz - their owner is just shady dodgy person who has screwed over his user base numerous times in the past and is just simply unpleasant to deal with.
MyMovies has always been really average. Moving to online and this point system that they use rules them out for me. They have always chummed up with Collectorz too which never sat right with me.
I'm sticking with DVDProfiler. I'd even pay again if it came to that. Otherwise i'll do my own thing, even if it is a simple spreadsheet or my own database I can access from anywhere. If I was forced to swap to something else I would probably try to look for some open source solution rather than going to Collectorz or MyMovies. | Posted: Topic Replies: 92, Topic Views: 15355 | | Quoting nanoron:
Quote: I just started to play with CLZ Movies, but I suspect this will take some time to evaluate.
Sorry to rehash an old thread. But having dealt with the owner of CLZ Movies, I wouldn't touch that company with a 10 foot barge pole. Very dishonest in my experience and just unpleasant to deal with. If you want a over-priced subscription service CLZ is your go to, one that will constantly inflate their price and drop support for native apps - as well as not honouring their old lifetime members.
Personally i'm sticking with DVDProfiler as long as I can, nothing so far comes close to it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 92, Topic Views: 15355 | | You didn't upload your collection to your online collection? I use that as a backup, and a way to sync between devices. | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 2745 | | Thanks Ken! Glad to see you are still floating about doing your thing. | Posted: Topic Replies: 51, Topic Views: 14596 | |
