In the overview section where it lists the cast members you see the column called "Photo Indicators". The icon will not appear by a cast member even though there is a photo for them until you select them.

If you go to view --> windows --> cast. Be sure to select a film where you put pics in for the cast members. The little icon will not show up near their name until you select the name. Makes it much harder to try and add pics for cast members. you literally have to select all of them first so you can see which ones dont have pics. Oh and be sure to have the photo indicators column on as well.

Sorry, I meant: How do you store your cast photos: Do you put them on your harddrive in the "My Documents\DVD Profiler\CreditPhotos" folder or do you put them directly into the database?

Because the behaviour described by you is only known (to me) when you put them into the CreditPhotos folder.

I put them directly into the database by just pasting into the area where it says "drag an image here".

Huh. Then this is a behaviour I have not encountered before.

Maybe you should try the Database Repair under Tools->Options->Utilities.

That didnt appear to fix the problem either. Is this the official way to report a bug or enhancement request?

what Karsten was saying is that it's neither - since I and many others are using this without the problem you are reporting - so it's not a fault with the software. It must be something with your PC.

Try using one of the standard layouts with dvd profiler - in case you are using one which has become corrupted etc.

Every layout does this. Win7 32 & 64bit. Can't believe there is something wrong with both machines. I can create a video of this and post it somewhere if you would like to see for yourself.

Yes, please do so.

For videos you may want to use YouTube

BTW: If you are trying to drag the pics directly from the browser. This isn't supported anymore. This is not a restriction of DVDProfiler but of literally all browsers since IE 7.
To get the pics into your local database you have to store them locally first (I use "Desktop" for this) and drag them from there.
Also bear in mind that several formats are not supported by DVDProfiler ("gif" for example will not work), check the file-format of your pics and see what happens if you try it with *.jpg.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
