How many of you own at least one movie for each letter of the alphabet? |

| Posted: | | | | I have every single letter covered. But I am missing some titles starting with Numbers. For the numbers I still need titles starting with 0, 6 & 8 to have the numbers covered as well. | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

The other four are there due to their original title ("Yes Man", "You don't Mess With the Zohan", "You, Me & Dupree", "You've Got Mail"). | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Got em all but "Y" in my owned. I do have a dub of "You Kill Me" in ordered, so it's kind of like having all the letters.
Nee 4,5 and 9 to cover all the numbers. I have 976-EVIL II in wishlist and on custom, so really 4 and 5. 1408 doesn't count for 4.
Edit: No #0's for me either, but I can't even think of any title that starts with 0. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

| Posted: | | | | No 0 (zero), 8 or 9...
Q has all the Quantum Leaps, Quark, and the Quiet Man. Y has fourteen titles.
I go for Production Years more than titles. Two or more entries for every year since 1909, one or more entries from every year from 1898 to 2011. 1897 DVDs are very hard to find, 1909 nearly so. Few (none) features, so having the oldest short on a DVD from those years is rare. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I have all the letters covered; my least one is Z at 10 (which I suppose should only be 9, since that's also counting Želary). As far as numbers go, I need #6 and 7 for a complete set.
I think Želary is my only accented letter starter.
Edit: And looking at what VibroCount was saying about production years, I have at least one film for every year since 1911, then it skips back to 1901. If I were to add one box set from my wishlist (Gaumont Treasures), I would only be lacking 1905 and 1910 to go all the way to 1897.
I would like to have a stand-alone 1917 film, since the only one I have is 49-17, which is on the same disc with 1916's The Ocean Waif, so my column has a break there. Any suggestions VibroCount? Or for that matter, suggestions for 1910 & 1905? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

| Posted: | | | | For 1917, I have a couple of William S. Hart DVDs: the combo of The Silent Man and Blue Blazes Rawden (the second one is 1918), and The Square Deal Man, and Kino Video's Arbuckle & Keaton Volume 1.
For 1910, the collection Johnny Legend Presents: The Complete Weird Cartoons has 1910's Hasher’s Delirium by Emile Cohl as its oldest short.
1905 is harder, found mainly as DVDs contained in boxed sets of early films, but the adult (hardcore porn) DVD The Good Old Naughty Days is a stand-alone with a nudie from 1905 as its oldest short. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
