| Posted: | | | | Copying cast and crew directly from the credits can be a chore. Copying the data from IMDb isn't allowed if you want to contribute the profile. But you can use it as a starting point. It's easy if you use D J Doena's CastCrewEdit and my CastCrewCheck. I have made a short screencast that shows how easy it is. (You probably want to maximize the video.) There is obviously more you can do with these programs. Check them out if you haven't already done so! | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | Nice screencast. I was already familiar with D J Doena's CastCrewEdit, but not your CastCrewCheck. Most excellent tool. Just downloaded it. Thanks for sharing! | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection |

| Posted: | | | | You're welcome, Lowpro!
The discussions about declining number of contributions inspired me to do this screencast, hoping that making it easier would help to get some more people to contribute. Or make some of the people who already contribute be able to contribute more. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | it is DJ Doena, just like credited names you are adding a space that isn't there. Unless there is a script auto-filter that is applying the space that I'm not aware of. |

| Posted: | | | | Very nice functionality. A functionality which I wish was in DVDProfiler is to be able to copy cast and crew from an online preview without having to download a title to your local database. Right now, a title has to be downloaded and then removed if you want to copy the cast and crew from another profile as a starting point. | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

It's a case of my fingers typing something else than what my brain knows. My sincere apologies to Karsten for that. However, when someone makes a genuine effort to help the community, it's disappointing that the only comment you can make is to point out a misspelling. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | I took a look at loading TV shows from CastCrewEdit and that works fine.
Checking a whole season in one go might be a heavy task, but you can save the session and resume it, so there shouldn't be any problems. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Doesn't "Full version" sound like a good bet?
And as to my product page there is a link at the very bottom of the page.
None of my programs come with an installer. You just open the zip file and drag (or copy/paste) the enclosed catalog to wherever you want it. You can create a shortcut to the .exe file and send it to the desktop, or wherever you want it. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Devion27: Quote: so you have to download both of yours and D J Doena Yes. Did you actually watch the screencast? You need CastCrewEdit (from DJ Doena) in order to screenscrape the credits from IMDb, and CastCrewCheck (from me) to check the credits against the actual movie or TV show. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users.
