Could you explain this a bit? I don't understand what problems there are with the present licensing agreement. Of course I would love to see this "one of the best plugins ever" actively supported and and available to every one again. |

Thanks for your PMs and emails concerning PCP. While I initially didn't plan to release another version, I will probably get around to updating it in the next couple of weeks. And a very Happy New Year to you! goodguy to the rescue! You have just made my year. I really love your PCP, I wasn't going to upgrade to 3.7 without your plugin, but now I will. Thank you very much goodguy. | | | Jim

Of course I would love to see this "one of the best plugins ever" actively supported and and available to every one again. Well, right off the top, people are going back to 3.6 because as I understand it, the plugin doesn't work with 3.7. Not because of changes to the program, but because the plugin has code to stop it from working after 3.6. As I recall, Goodguy took the plugin away so new users can't get it. Since people had paid for it with 3.5, he said he would provide one more upgrade. That came with 3.6. I think the plugin is disabling itself for anything higher than version 3.6 of the desktop program. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. My point is that protection scheme seems to have caused more problems than it should. If the plugin ever returns, I hope Matthias choose a different protection mechanism. I wouldn't want to pay the money then have the plugin stop working when a new version of the main program is released. To be fair, had Matthias stuck around and supported the plugin, these problems most likely wouldn't have surfaced. He probably would have had a new version ready when the main program got released. But with him no longer supporting the product, you now have people unable to either use the plugin or install the latest version of the main program. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. I just didn't understand what you ment by "licensing agreement" when the actual problem doesn't have anything to do with it. That's why I asked clarification. |

Not a problem. I was just trying to keep it simple. But I can see how the words I choose could make things a little confusing. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
