For the record: from these confirmations I can't see whether the contribution rule that says that a "Special Effects Coordinator" can only be added when there's no "Special Effects Supervisor" credited has been applied. I see several users confirming titles like 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'X-Men: First Class', while another user simultaneously marks those same titles as "invalid" - presumable because they're "Special Effects Coordinator" credits in conjunction with "Special Effects Supervisor" credits...

So please, double-check the validity of these credits, to ensure we end up with an accurate count.

Both X-Men as The Dark Knight Rises have a credit for Chris Corbould as a Special Effects Supervisor which make the coordinator invalid according the rules.

Robert Stromberg is credited as 'visual effects supervisor' – does that invalidate this credit?

No, VFX has nothing in common with SFX, except the DVD Profiler category.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

The rules state: "A Special Effects Coordinator can be added & credited when no Special Effects Supervisor is credited anywhere in the credits". There's nothing in there about a Visual Effects Supervisor, so no, IMHO that wouldn't invalidate the credit.

I thought those the case but thought it was worth mentioning the other role anyway.

Top Gun: Maverick - Scott R. Fisher
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!
