For anyone who is interested as well:
The problem with this skin is, that it makes use of JavaScript. The author had not used the image variables provided by DVD Profiler (for the covers) but "built" them himself. They were using relative paths, which were DVD Profiler 2.x specific; the same of course for the additional images used by the skin (the "Temp" aspect discussed on page 1). Fixing these paths resolves the problem.
