Why don't we give it a week - see if we get any "me too"s, and / or somebody else that wants to write the plugin. Then we'll decide the next step. Thanks for trying the report - actually I would be curious if it works - it might be helpful in understanding the printer data stream (using print to file). One thing: I do not have one of those printers, so if I decide to do it, I will need a good chunk of your time for real-time debugging, using Google instant messaging. I code - you test, back and forth like that. It could take several sessions of 1 hour or more. If you are prepared to do this, I could do the plugin - if you don't have that kind of time, we'll have to wait for somebody that owns the printer.
One easy thing to do would be to design and test the label template that you need. When it is ready, PM me. In the weekend I have time to do it. but to be honnest I never heard of Google instant messaging so I have no clue of where to be and how to do it. We'll see in 1 week if there are others who would be glad to have that plugin. |

You'll have to dowload the programm of that printer on the internet (www.brother.com) and the SDK programm that goes with it. otherwise you won't be able to make the plugin and vieuw the label. I'll try to make the layout of that label this weekend. Can you give me your mail adress so I can send it to you. |

I downloaded the SDK and the print driver long ago, looked at it, gave some information about it, and then asked you to PM me (send me a private message) so that we could continue the conversation privately. Also, I hope that you will be able to find "Google Talk" and install it. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | Well thanks to nico, who is a great developer partner, I have created Version 1.0 of a P-Touch Label print plugin. This plugin is not meant to duplicate all of the report capability of DVD Profiler. When DVD Pro adds the ability to print barcode images to the reports, I suspect that this plugin will no longer be needed and may be withdrawn at that time, based on user feedback. Please see the announcement thread, and most of all ... enjoy! | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
