As far as I understand, "Box Set" is always used to define any release that includes more than one film. Please do not get confused between a Case Type of "Box Set" and a 'parent profile' type of Box Set. It is perfectly legal to have a box set (a release with more than one film - even two films on different dsides of the same disc count) which could have a case type of Digipak, Keep Case or any other. Similarly if you had one film but packaged with a bonus disc in a separate case you could end up with the single release with a Box Set case type. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

The Problem was the reverse case: A single film release in a Keep Case with a Slip Case or Slip Cover. | | | So long, M1uffy

Skip Well, hydr0x still insists in this is not right, different or whatever, but he obviously doesn't want to understand and doesn't have the guts either to discuss it here, though I asked him to... | | | So long, M1uffy

| Posted: | | | | Well, all I understand after reading both threads very carefully, is that a DVD in a Keep Case, where the disc is held by/in the Keep Case, should be entered as such, as Keep Case. This, regardless of whether it comes with any kind of - promotional or not, temporary or not - kind of wrapping, such as a Slip Case or a Slip Cover. At least, until other options are added in DVD Profiler. And it is not a Box Set, by any means. Please correct me, if I'm wrong. Anyone, but hydr0x, please. To mention a few examples of the packaging I'm talking of: - Most of the German 'GROSSE FILM-KLASSIKER' series from 20th Century Fox, when they are first released - The US release of 'Move Over Darling' - The US release of 'Can-Can' Just to tell a few. PS: If I followed your argumentation, hydr0x, I would have to enter most Digipak (single) releases as Box Sets... | | | So long, M1uffy

| Posted: | | | | I recently purchased some DVD's in France, with packaging that I haven't seen before: Example UPC 3-339161-278117 It folds closed, but does not lock. I have seen this referred to as clamshell, but I think those do lock. Would this be "envelope"? PLEASE IGNORE. I can't get the images to work, and pressed Submit rather than Preview by accident. | | | Hans | | | Last edited: by Staid S Barr |

Skip Actually, we do have "Boxset (Slip Case)" as a choice now. You will find it as "Boxset". | | | Dan | | | Last edited: by Dan W |

Digipak's usually have a sleeve, and fold 1, 2, 3 or even more times? But other than that, Digipak may be the closest... | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | There are Digipaks without "sleeve" (Ben Stiller Show) or even with just one disc and without sleeve (Panic Room). So, if you say it's the closest, it's probably correct. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I have been asked about what some are calling "hard book" cases but after seeing a couple of images of what is being discussed, I thought I would post here and let you know what I think of these. They are Clamshells. Here are two of the images I was sent. As you can see, these are only slightly different from the Lawrence of Arabia case shown in the first post. | | | Dan | | | Last edited: by Dan W |
