| Posted: | | | | It sounds like the Online Profile List hasn't downloaded yet. The option to refresh it should be just above the one to refresh the images in the Online menu. Try running that first, it's about 14mb on initial download. |

Quote: Then there's a disconnect between your new DVD Profiler installation and your online collection. For some reason when you attempt to refresh images, the program cannot find an online collection to doenload the images from. That tells me that your user information in profiler doesn't match your online account info or you're not logged in. I am logged in When first had profiler when it first came out I had a different password than the one I have now that I have had for a long while would that make a difference |

| Posted: | | | | When adding DVDs there's a button in the bottom left called "Refresh Online List". What exactly happens when you press that button?
Edit: also search your hard drive for two files: OnlineList.dod and OnlineListSel.dod and let us know how big they are. Mine are currently approx 21mb. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | I've just edited my message so you may have missed it: Could you do a search on your hard drive for two files: OnlineList.dod and OnlineListSel.dod and let us know how big they are.
I'm pretty sure the problem is because the Online List either isn't downloading or isn't downloading properly. Could a firewall be preventing Profiler from downloading these files? |

| Posted: | | | | If you find those files, try moving them elsewhere while Profiler is closed so Profiler will think they are gone. Then try refreshing the online list again, this should force the program to download the list again from scratch. |

| Posted: | | | | Then it sounds like there is something preventing their download. Try changing the internet connection method in Options and see if you get anywhere with the Alternate method. Also if you're running firewall software or are using Windows built-in firewall, try switching it off temporarily just to see if it changes Profiler's behaviour. Of course don't forget to switch it back on! |

Thank you all very much Under Options -> Online you can activate "alternate connection method". But it won't help when ZoneAlarm blocks the access (see my posting above) | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
