"ouch" - my wallet...

Same here. I prepared a "wish list" for the sale, just loosely at first, and ended up with $600 worth of goods (well, it did include T2 Skynet with the terminator head). Wil have to trim down, I guess.

I prepared the list so today I can check whether they increased the prices during the sale...

"Ouch" is right!  Just spent $100 I shouldn't have...in my wish list, only one increased in price and that was only by less than a dollar.  I have a feeling it was on sale that finished.  I had several prices go down, actually; a couple even by a few dollars.

But I'll get a bunch of stuff off my wish list now, though!  Yay!

Another $300 order placed, yikes.  And about 8 titles to order from DVD Planet too (25OFFSALE codeword, but only useable once).

I just ordered upward of $500 of mostly TV shows. I supposed I'm lucky they never finished releasing NYDB Blue and Trigun is out of print.

Well, I thought I was going to place a modest little order for a couple of titles I'd been waiting on, until I noticed the ridiculous price on the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes set.  Doh!

DVD Planet is also having a sale. The code there is 25offsale. In both cases, it's good not only on DVDs and Blu-rays, but storage. I'm getting four 504-DVD shelves for about $360.

With the 25% off, Deepdiscount frequently has the edge, but it always

Look like the one I got the bottom was hard to put on but nice once done. Plus it's a better price then Amazon. It cost $167 but,it is free shipping with my Amazon Prime membership. I paid $135 last month with free 2 day shipping.

How much are you paying in shipping?

It depends really on a disc-per-disc basis. I've made a list of the Blu-rays I'm interested, in XL, and for some discs Amazon is still better but for others it's worth to jump on the DD deal.

I like DD havn't order from them in years. Now they sell everything. They used to only sell DVD's back when I order a lot from them.

I made a list before the sale and on that one DD came out on top in all but 2 items. So if what you are saying turns out correct for my list as well, then it would appear they raised prices before the sale.

I'll make my purchase(s) tomorrow and make sure to only order stuff that's cheaper than at Amazon.

Those look to be mislisted, and are actually the DVD sets and not the Blu-ray sets. Other sites are showing seperate DVD and Blu-ray sets of all of those, and even on DVD Planet (and Deep Discount) there are much higher priced Blu-ray packs of the same movies. Curious that they each have the same release date as well.

I'm pretty certain of it after checking the Foxstore also.
