| Posted: | | | | I've seen "translation files" mentioned in this context, but I know nothing about it. Anybody care to summarize how bogieboo could benefit from using that? Anybody care to summarize how bogieboo could benefit from using that? • Download the Master Translation Source from the translation download section and save it under "My Documents\DVD Profiler\translations\<SOME NAME>.dpt" • Inside DVDP go to " Tools" --> " Options..." --> " System" • Underneath " Language" choose " Master Translation Source" from the drop-down list and click " Edit..." • Next to " Langauge Name:" replace Master Translation Source with a new name (to avoid confusion use <SOME NAME> or sth. similar) • Now add a translation for every expression you want to change, e.g. Runtime: - Search for Runtime by typing it into the " Highlight String:" field and press " ?" - Type Bottle Size into the " Translation:" field at the bottom of the window - If more than one entry was found, press the " >" button to proceed • After you have finished, hit " Save", then " OK" and examine your work Hint: to sort the list by original terms or translations, right-click on a table cell and choose " Sort by" | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

| Posted: | | | | I don't use tags for cork/screwtop etc. I do put individual bottle notes in the disc section however.
I think I'll play around with the translation tables. Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | Funny. You could envision a "skin" package consisting of reports, HTML windows, layouts, translation file and other items to make your version of "Any" profiler. Looks like we have a nice "Wine skin" in process. So, then when we get the 15,999th "What about CD Profiler?", we just give'em a link to the "CD Skin," or the "Book skin" or whatever. Ha!!!! But it has to wait at least until next week… Oh, I'm getting really excited about this | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

| Posted: | | | | I would absolutely LOVE it if Profiler/Invelos had CD/BOOK/BOARD GAME collection capabilities.
I've been looking at GCStar and MediaMan as alternatives for my books/cds/games because I LOVE the 'virtual shelf' display option (stole from Mac program DeliciousLibrary from what I understand). The problem with those programs is the lack of functionality when compared to Profiler.
If someone could come up with Skins for CD/Book/Game profiler I would absolutely in geek heaven!! |
