Now for some reason I tend to believe that this didn't happen in the recommended way.
Please check in the folder given by the error message if the file actorassign.dat exists. If it doesn't (which I strongly believe), browse to the default location and copy the content of the folder "Database Templates" to the folder named in your error message.
The default installation path for DVDProfiler is: on 32 Bit systems: C:\Programs\DVProfiler\DatabaseTemplates
on 64 Bit systems C:\Programs(x86)\DVProfiler\DatabaseTemplates
If (what I hope is not correct) the default directory doesn't exist, search your system for a folder named "DatabaseTemplates" and copy it's content to the folder named in the error message.
This should at least fix this problem. Depending on the way you changed the default installation path others may arise. Still the easiest way would be to do a complete re-install of your OS with the default settings.
For future use: Please, if not exactly knowing about the consequences, do not change the default installation settings of any program (and this explicitly includes your OS!). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

There isn't any folder named "C:\source": (2) Are you sharing the database(s) on a NAS or other shared storage? No, I don't share it. (3) Is DVD Profiler running in client / server mode (shared database)? No, it isn't. If so, uninstall DVD Profiler, then reinstall and accept all default installation and other paths. If you are running any other version than the latest official version downloaded from the Invleos site, shame on you. Do not accept any version of the software downloaded from somewhere else. It could be corrupt. Don't worry, I'm paying customer and I'm only using what I've downloaded from this site. I'm using version 3.7.2, Build 1444. By the way, the DBISAM Engine Error # 11010 Table error appeared after I changed the display language from Dutch to English. I haven't had that error before. Thanks for your help so far! |

| Posted: | | | | It happened only once, when I changed the display language from Dutch to English. Today I changed it back to Dutch without a problem, no error message. The real problem for me is the one I started this topic with: I get this 2 out of 3 times when I edit a studio or distributor in Dvd Profiler. |

I'm not a big fan of registry cleaner software, but if you want to try that, go ahead. Uninstall DVD Profiler, run the cleaner, reboot, then re-install DVD Profiler. One of the only ways I could understand how you could have this same issue on two different machines with a non-shared database, is that the same corruption is on both system - perhaps a virus or shareware that either accidentally or intentionally sabotages DVD Profiler. | | | Thanks for your support. If ever there were a case for having a backup for your OS platform, this is it. The least he could do is repay us by taking some good advice - and yes it will cost some money.
