Does this mean that when I'm considering buying a DVD at the local Movie Mart, and I look at my Invelos DVD Profiler phone app (Let's say on a Samsung Galaxy S3), that my Invelos DVD Profiler (on PC) needs to running at home? or are you just saying it needs to be running on PC to install and sync? Do you get any error messages? Is "Sharing" enabled on your PC-installation?
No error messages. Just continues to say connecting and then times out with the message "Unable to connect. Please verify the settings and try again." Windows firewall is open and I enabled port forwarding on my router. Thanks for the reply.
What I meant with "Is "Sharing" enabled on your PC-installation?" is DVDProfiler (PC) menu "Tools -> Options -> Sharing". Here you'd have to enable remote access to make your collection available for your Android Device. Please also note that DVDProfiler (PC) must be running when trying to access the database from a remote-device. |
