I've been educated that it is always giving and taking.... so only taking could never be my thing.... And so it was very horrible to handle those complications which made it impossible to give.... |

| Posted: | | | | Not sure if this related to the original problems posted by Magmadrag, but I've had a lot of trouble lately with even connecting to the site. I get a lot of "server not found/DNS error" messages. Tried several browsers, different locations (home/work), cleared browser settings, added exceptions to Bitdefender, and still nothing. This morning I had the same. I contributed some updates, and 30 minutes later the entire site appeared to be down. Now it's back up (otherwise I couldn't have posted this ), but the site appears in Chrome as 'Not secure'. Anybody else having this problem? |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah me too. About once a day for the past few weeks the site is unreachable for a few hours and then it's just back again. I don't know if it's a DNS issue or what it is. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

I don't know if it's a DNS issue or what it is. The Invelos site is not having technical problems, it's your local telco's DNS servers that may be experiencing some sort of DNS denial-of-service attack. To get around this temporarily, use the Windows host file and add the IP address of the Invelos web site. Suggest try adding the following entry to your local HOST file in the Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder: www.invelos.com 173.167.34.141 | | | Last edited: by ObiKen |

If the DNS service had problems why is it only this one domain? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Same problem here! At least during the last week half of the time the site cannot be found. But only the invelos site like for DJ Doena.
Sometimes it's only for minutes, but sometimes half of the day not available |

| Posted: | | | | I found by adding a few extra DNS servers, alongside my ISP's DNS servers, fixed it.
I added in the OpenDNS DNS servers 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
Along with the Cloudflare DNS servers 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
As I use DHCP to assign my PC's IP addresses, I added it to my Mikrotik router, but you can also add them (If you use Windows 10) to the Advanced TCP/IP Settings (The DNS tab) in the Network settings. |

| Posted: | | | | Still have same problem. It comes and goes. I added www.invelos.com 173.167.34.141 to host file but that didn't help. Changing browser didn't help either. |

Yes, I realize now that the HOST file is used when pinging but not used by web browsers. Best and easiest method is to modify your internet adapter connection setting on your PC: ==> right click your adapter icon and select Properties ==> select the TCP/IPv4 and click Properties button ==> change the DNS settings from "Obtain DNS server address automatically" to " Use the following DNS server addresses:" ==> enter the following IP addresses Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4Click OK to save your changes. The above addresses are Google's DNS servers. If you have any privacy concerns with Google potentially monitoring your DNS traffic then consider using the IP addresses BloodyAl provided in the previous post. Have not had a single problem with the Invelos site since making the change. Hope that helps. | | | Last edited: by ObiKen |
