You could de-install the program, then (if it still exists), remove the folder "DVD Profiler" in your "My Files" folder.

Then you install the program again and try to add a movie - any movie. It should try to download the initial list (about 14 megabytes).
I will leave this lot as it is. I have a friend who works in a computer shop wed to sat so will take my pc up to let him have a look at and see what he comes up with. Thank you for all your help
I don't think it has anything to do with your online list.

BTW: I hope you have enough free space on your hard drive?
