I think you're thinking too much in term of current actors, for which your rule works quite well. Start thinking about long deceased ones and you'll get what the problem is.

I see your point but the main problem is that I have no way of knowing which is which.

Which is which?

Deceased/golden age actors and actresses that fit the criteria you gave.

Still not sure what you're saying. Don't you know any classic actors that aged or are you saying you don't know who's who among the classic hollywood actors? Either way I'm not sure what point your trying to make, sorry :/

If it's really just a matter of examples I could look a few up...

To answer your question - yes.  I can't tell who's a classic actor and a classic actor who's older in a photo.

This would be best resolved by creating a separate database for those in their acting prime or a Classic/Golden Age database.

118 cast, 1 crew:
HERE

As usual, some pics are fuzzy on big compare screen but look fine on small thumbnail on regular layout. This is mainly for actors/actresses who were difficult to find pics for. I think all of them are new (maybe 1 or 2 improvements) so I hope you all enjoy them. Also, some are in my personal preference of waist above and action shots.

Dr. Killpatient - I uploaded this one to your site. Did you get the last one that I was having trouble uploading?

Oops, my bad. I've submitted mine twice. They're both the same file so you can keep Taro_Japanese_cast_crew_1.dpb and delete Japanese_cast_crew_01.dpb if you wish. Again, sorry for the confusion ...

@ Samuelrichardscott:

Looks like you didn't upload your first addition (106headshots.dpb) to Dr. Kilpatrick's site, which you have posted on the last page: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=287443&PageNum=48

File --> restore --> then browse to the dpb file.

Attention if you are using the beta 3.6. Normally you can compare the images to existing images. In 3.6 they get overwritten without any compare screens.

Anyone know of an easy way to copy pics from imdb? When I right click I don't get a copy or save option and they often have the only pic I can find.

If you're running Vista (and maybe Windows 7, don't know) you can use the Snipping Tool. It basically lets you select any area of your screen and create an image of only that area. I think it's located in the Accessories folder.

You probably know this trick already  and if so,  maybe others will find this a good tip.
But when you are in Profiler (3.5) and bring up Cast and then  you 'left click' the actors name, (head shot or not), and then when the bigbox of  cast members profiles opens up,- 'LEFT' click the photo box ( again picture or not), this will -in turn open up ( in default) Explorer's 'google images ' there you'll have a wide range of photos or images to choose from.,, right click the image and the box that opens for Explorer will give a wide range of choices including 'copy' ., you copy and then get back to that open box image and right click paste.. voila your image is there for that actor and will replace any other of the same photo for that actor throughout your data base..  I'm always replacing actors faces I'm not happy with., or If I find a blank photo for an actor with more than TWO or three of my films I go on a prowl for that perfect picture.  and since i don't use Firefox or Mozilla I can't say if this works for those web browsers. IE 7 and 8 work fine for Profiler.

If you're running XP, double click the headshot, hit the PrintScreen key, which saves the desktop to the clipboard.  Open Paint or other graphics program, and crop, save as jpg and you can put that into DVDP.  Not exactly easy, but it gets the job done.
