Haven't seen it yet. It was a blind buy    I think it only had a limited theatrical run and I didn't even see it in theaters here in Belgium. But I remember the original one from the 70's and rape-revenge movies don't come along that often, so I thought, what the hell. As soon as I've received and watched it, I'll be happy to share my thought on it with you.

Cool. My copy should be coming in the mail soon (this and the remake BD) so I'll be watching it hopefully during the week.

I saw it in the limited and was really surprised on how much I enjoyed it. It's not quite as brutal as the original, but it definitely has its moments. I will be picking it up, too, at some point for sure.

(I really dig the original, FWIW.)

Nice! I'm interested in what you think about the Blu quality of the original, and if it's worth an upgrade.
