My question was basically could that be correlated to the affiliate ID? I don't know, but if so, that might be a solution. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. yup So, if someone were to use it would your access be restored for a period of time or do you have to reapply for access to the Product API? If you used your own links when purchasing product do those sales also count toward access? I do know you won't get commission on your own orders, but I'm curious if that would restore access too. EDIT: I found the terms and conditions and it doesn't appear to be a very viable option. Quote: Each account used for Product Advertising API is allowed an initial usage limit of 8640 requests per day (TPD) subject to a maximum of 1 request per second (TPS). Your account will receive an additional 1 TPD for every 5 cents or 1 TPS (up to a maximum of 10) for every $4320 of shipped item revenue generated via the use of Product Advertising API for shipments in the last 30 days.
Note that your account will lose access to Product Advertising API if it has not generated referring sales using PA API in the last 30 days. | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

No, own purchases (and also family) purchases are excluded. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Still getting that 503 error.
I tried to get the UPC for Boomer seasons and the converter comes up with that 503 error. https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B07PMLY2QH/ https://www.amazon.com/Heres-Boomer-Season-1/dp/B07PNK9YQK/ |

I made purchase back in January and within a few days the functionality was restored, but if a purchase isn't made after a period of time (i.e. a month+) then access to the API is cut off again by Amazon. But, here are the associated UPCs: B07PMLY2QH - 810017880447 B07PNK9YQK - 810017880430 |

https://algopix.com/tools/asin-to-upc Way cool. Thanks. I parsed the page source for you, example: https://algopix.com/online-tools/convert?from=ASIN&to=UPC&value=B07PNK9YQK I suspect they will notice abuse and shut down free useage. Be mindful. Page HTML mentions a limit of 30 requests. (The reverse is supposedly available, but I couldn't get that to work the same way.) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | CamelCamelCamel.com will also provide the UPC on the product details tab after searching by ASIN. Their EAN is off though as they seem to truncate the last digit for US releases anyway. If you're just looking for the UPC of a release you could also check ImportCDs.com or Bullmoose.com as they both list the UPC on their product listing pages. | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

A bit annoying but it helps a little, thanks! https://www.marktplatz-tools.de/asin_ean_convert.php This site works great, at least with german EAN but it's only allowed to search once every one to two minutes. A pain with a 10 for 50 bucks sale at amazon |

A pain with a 10 for 50 bucks sale at amazon They do cut off the last digit with 13-digit GTINs (EAN, JAN, etc.), but it's just the check digit so you can calculate the last digit. It may be a bit of extra work, but at least it is doable. Or you can use the GS1 check digit calculator and have it do the calculation for you: https://www.gs1.org/services/check-digit-calculator |
