| Posted: | | | | I don't have the program here with me but can you not add a COO column in the collection list?
EDIT: just checked, yes you can. Adding this column will allow you to sort by COO, thus finding any profiles without one. | | | Last edited: by MarEll |

I can't find a way to sort by CoO, nor can I filter CoO for "unlisted"/blank. Apart from tags, is there an inherent way to find profiles lacking CoO? On the General tab, the Country of Origin filter is at the bottom of the window. You can also add the column Country of Origin in your Collection View by right clicking in the Collection View window and select View Columns and Country of Origin. You can then sort by CoO and all the blanks will either be first or last depending on sort. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks guys. I felt a bit stupid... until I checked. The layout I'm using doesn't allow me to sort by CoO, nor does it allow me to show the CoO column from the right-click menu. I am able to see these options when using Invelos Default High Resolution. I guess it's something for me to keep in mind in case I need it. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

Select the Commands tab and then select Collection List. Left click/Drag "Collection View" and place on the menu bar. You should now be able to add the CoO column to your Collection List window. Now just click on the CoO column to sort it. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

I don't think it's possible a layout changes the top menu of the program, so, it has to be there. I think we have disproved this yesterday. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | An added problem with adding Iran as a country is, if I remember rightly doesn't Ken need to know the classification details for each new country? As I understand it, the localities, CoOs and ratings are all interconnected now. The only info I've been able to find out is it seems films aren't rated in Iran, they are either passed by the Ministry of Islamic Guidance and Culture or not, I can find no information on classifications that they may use. |

Surely classification is tied to locality and not to CoO? | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Then I guess if we would want all countries they'd have to be separated. But if it's just a matter of adding one country, Iran, then I see your point. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | Ahh, but as was brought up in an earlier post in thread the discussion isn't just about adding Iran any longer. For one thing, it's about being able to notate films with production studios in multiple countries, as well as about adding countries currently not available (not just Iran, but also Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, and any others needed). | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | I think that "All countries" and "Multiple countries" are two very different questions. Personally I'm for all countries, but I'm ambivalent about multiple countries. Not that it couldn't be useful, but I fear that it could lead to a lot of confusion. We have enough of that already... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | I'd like to see an option to notate that something is a multiple-country co-production - even if it was as simple as adding "Multiple" to the CoO field. While it would be nice to notate that Mongol is from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Germany, I do understand that it might not be feasible to be able to note all of the different countries a given film has production studios from, and would be happy if we just had "Multiple" as an option instead of having to leave the field completely blank. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |
