| Posted: | | | | Quoting mediadogg: Quote: Regarding folder structure, I take advantage of the fact that if you use the pre-defined DVDP scheme, everything you put in there is saved and restored by DVDP automatically.
If you want to play with it, let me know if you find something that works for you. Then if I add Trailer and Playlist path settings, you can change them if / when DVDP supports saving those items. I am aware of the backup advantage, but personally I don't care - I do backups of my documents folder anyway. But it would be much easier to maintain playlists, when they are stored in their own folder. And if you add an option to a 'Playlist folder', it's default path can still be ScenePhotos.

| Posted: | | | | Hmmm, the DVD Cast / Crew was intended to work the way you want it to I think. I even put code in to extract the path from shortcuts so that you can save space and not need to store multiple copies of pictures in folders representing aliases of a cast / crew member.
Here is my CreditPhotos folder. I do not have any DVDP credit photos for "House of Flying Daggers", but when I use the Slideshow for Displayed DVD Cast and Crew, the lovely Zhang Zhi is displayed in all her glory based on a match from the Cast / Crew and either a folder or picture found in CreditPhotos. Isn't this what you want?

It looks like this: 03.11.2012 23:40 13.021 Zabel_Bryce_.jpg 03.11.2012 23:40 12.542 Zabel_Jackie_.jpg 20.05.2013 00:55 13.303 Zabriskie_Grace__1941.jpg 31.03.2014 23:41 15.755 Zacapa_Daniel_.jpg 07.06.2013 00:55 16.024 Zachary_John__1956.jpg 29.10.2012 18:15 12.168 Zackham_Justin_.jpg 07.11.2012 23:10 13.171 Zackman_Gabra_.jpg 29.10.2012 18:15 16.338 Zadan_Craig__1949.jpg 28.10.2012 17:21 9.895 Zadegan_Necar_.jpg 04.11.2012 11:56 13.527 Zadel_Lydia__1983.jpg 10.11.2012 23:29 20.050 Zadora_Pia__1954.jpg 30.10.2012 20:39 14.472 Zaentz_Saul__1921.jpg 31.03.2014 23:40 12.887 Zager_Lynnanne_.jpg 31.03.2014 18:53 11.169 Zagoudakis_Eli__1984.jpg 13.11.2012 22:36 15.171 Zahara_Alex_.jpg 03.11.2012 01:05 15.800 Zahedian_David__1980.jpg 26.09.2012 03:35 16.800 Zaher_Baktash__1976.jpg 27.10.2012 19:54 17.824 Zahn_Steve__1967.jpg 29.10.2012 18:10 14.399 Zahrn_Will_.jpg 25.09.2012 01:03 10.368 Zaillian_Steven__1953.jpg 03.11.2012 15:54 13.950 Zaim_Naureen__1978.jpg 06.06.2013 23:29 14.382 Zajac_Greg_.jpg 03.11.2012 23:29 11.720 Zajko_Betsy_.jpg 26.09.2012 19:54 15.090 Zaki_Joseph_A._1979.jpg 08.06.2013 23:54 44.785 Zak_Mark__1959.jpg And I don't see any of these photos. Just to check: I'm not talking about headshots stored in the database! I don't have those. All my cast / crew photos are stored in the 'CreditPhotos' folder.

| Posted: | | | | Well that was what I intended, and the way it seems to be working for me. Here is a screen shot of my slideshow for Aeon Flux , showing photos being picked up from CreditPhotos and ScenePhotos (not head shots). I'm not sure what the disconnect is. Maybe a bug in my actor name parsing??? By the way, the fun thing about the folders is that you can stuff a bunch of pictures of your favorite actors in it. So long as the folder name matches the artist name, all the photos inside the folder are added to the slideshow, regardless of how they are named. | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Ah, I see. You have the pictures inside a subfolder: \CreditPhotos\Theron_Charlize_\Theron_Charlize_.jpg
But DVD Profiler expects these pictures without this subfolder: \CreditPhotos\Theron_Charlize_.jpg
And that's how I stored my pictures.

And that's how I stored my pictures. Well actually I have both, so the fact that they are being found in the folder was masking that the ones outside are not. I consider it a bug, so it will be fixed. So in summary, thanks to your efforts, I will make the following changes: - Fix menu typos - Add Playlist Path option to Media Player - Add Load playlists by Profile ID menu - Fix bug in finding images in CreditPhotos Is that it, at least so far? | | | Thanks for your support. It might be awhile. Just take your time... Quoting mediadogg: Quote: I realize the risk is that you will add even more to the list ... I admit, there's a risk - but right now I don't see anything else I could put on the list. Quoting mediadogg: Quote: But I prefer that somebody is using and loving the program. I appreciate your feedback. What have I paid you for? Honestly, I'd just asked for it - if you would say no, I could live with that.

| Posted: | | | | LoadDVD Pro V2.51 Available
Due to a mistake in setting compile options, LoadDVD Pro V2.50 was not installing correctly.
This release has no functional changes. Apologies to StaNDarD for taking so long to nail this. Both LoadDVD and LoadDVD Pro had the same bug, and both have been updated to V2.51.
Now that I've gotten past that, I will start the next series of upgrades, and I will try to include as many of the ones you mentioned as I can. Tried hitting up "http://www.mediadogg.com/myfiles/loaddvdinstallv2.51.zip" instead and that isn't working either. (Meant to post this in the LoadDVD thread. Sorry.) | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection | | | Last edited: by Lowpro |

| Posted: | | | | Really curious how it goes. I'm pulling my hair out. Now all of a sudden, it is no longer installing on my own machine. I'm about ready to call GhostBusters.
Now all Ok. I think my laptop does have ghosts ... (or is it my brain?) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

If you make these changes, I would be perfectly happy - at least for the moment. I'm finally making some changes. On Load Trailers by Profile ID, do you want: - upc.locality.trailer name.ext - upc.trailer name.ext - both??? Edit: No time to wait, so I coded both plus "formatted upc.trailer name.ext". Fir example, these all work: 4942463602307.17.trailer.mp4 4942463602307.trailer.mp4 4-942463-602307.trailer.mp4 | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
