| Posted: | | | | Would like to see Ireland in the Country of Origin list.
EDIT: Also Russia and Estonia are missing. Calling Estonia former Soviet Union would be like changing US to former Kingdom of Great Britain. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

Quote: Whilst we are on about countries and despite me thinking it should be when did Taiwan become a country? Too late IIRC, it once was a country (you gotta define country anyway, i'll just define it as accepted by the UN) after WWII (as China, when the PR of China wasn't) but then the UN shifted towards China for obvious reasons and they couldn't have both Chinas As Taiwan, certain countries still see it as a country, but some (including China, which has veto rights in the UN) don't. Almost every African country doesn't due to Chinese influence (China helped a lot of African countries during the 60s/70s to gain independence and build a decent infrastructure). It's a very complicated issue and you're best of researching it a little on the internet. I might be wrong on some of what I said because it's been a while I read about all this. | | | - Jan |
