For past couple of days my Profiler has not displayed Audio/Video or Features information on any title. If you edit any title the information is there and the information is also displayed when viewing the collection online.

Everything else seems to display ok (Subtitles, Overview, Discs etc.). I've tried unchecking the Features and Audio/Video windows and putting them back but that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Here's a picture to illustrate the problem: http://mikkis.1g.fi/kuvat/profiler.JPG

Not that it's any help (sorry) but I have exactly the same problem with regard to the display of Disc information.

I assume it is some sort of corruption in the code and will be OK after I install the next version (or if I did a full re-install of this one) since it's only the case on one of my PCs, but haven't tried it yet. I shall be watching this thread to see if there's an easier way or a confirmation of my guess.

Yes, I tried Repair Database creating a dew database and re-importing which has solved some odd problems in the past but I think this one is a corruption of the program rather than the data.

That's weird - never observed this

Maybe it helps to change the skin (e.g. to default) to see what happens?!

Take a look at View->Windows in the menu and make sure that the ones you want are checked.

I don't think many people have; I don't think it's a bug as such, maybe a 'weakness' where something can become quite easily corrupt.

Same in all skins

Yes, they're all checked... I even tried turning the 'broken' one off; close down, re-start, turn the 'broken' one back on again; no effect.

Hmm, the informations are available (you see it in your online database...) but you cannot see them in your local profiler?!

Maybe a problem of your system settings, like fonts, screen resolution etc. Do you remember what you did before this problem appeared? Did you try to restore a backup? So you could verify that it's not a problem with your datase..just thinking loud *shrug*

We can even see it if we edit the DVD locally, it just doesn't show up in the window on the normal display

I don't remember what I was doing before the info disappeared (I don't normally keep the Disc info on display) but it was working fine for weeks and I don't think I did anything major. Potentially it could be I installed VSO Inspector on the machine to allow me to check the Region info on a disc but I don't think so; if exactly the same thing can happen to someone else but affecting Features instead of Disc Info I am confident the Disc Info link to VSO Insprector is a red herring.

I have 3 different databases on this machine and it affects all of them. If I Backup any of the Databases and Restore them on my other machine they display properly. If I back them up on the other machine (where all is fine) and Restore them on this machine (to the same database or to a new, blank database) the info still doesn't display.
As I said I think it's the program not the database that's become corrupt somehow.

I reinstalled the Profiler and restored a local database backup but the problem was still there. I reinstalled the Profiler once more and restored the online database and after this everything displayed correctly. Maybe my local database and an older backup of my local database were both corrupted?

It was weird but thankfully it's now working normally again.

If.., It should happen to do this again one day,, try a reload. I have found myself, when using the filter buttons as an example I loose some of the tags along the bottom of the boxes., after a reload they are all back again.
