OK I'm going to get a new TV for Christmas i have kind of decided to go for one of the new Toshiba Z series but i can't decide whether to be sensible and get the 37" or be practical and get the 42" or chuck sensible and practical out of the window and get the 52" i am only sat about 10 foot away from where the TV will be and really the 37" would be best for normal SD viewing but for HD the 42" or 52" would be awesome    so what do you guy's think?

What size screen should I get for my room, and how far away should I sit for the best picture?

Here's a good chart:

Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.

Want to know a real money saver, move your couch few meters closer to the TV. The TV becomes bigger with no extra cost

No one I know has ever said "I wish I bought a smaller TV"

So, I say go as big as you can afford.
