| Posted: | | | | Hi All,
question ... When I add a Boxset ( for example the Complete Buffy selection), it will only add the parent profile, not the child profiles. Is this normal? Do I need to add these seperately myself? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks |

| Posted: | | | | By the looks of it you have to donload yourself the childs for this collection or other collections. Sadly in this case EAN UK 5039036023320 no further information is in this profile. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

| Posted: | | | | hmm,
So If I add the boxset contents and contribute them, the next person to download the parent profile will need to re-add these again regardless? |

There have been requests to allow automatic downloading of child profiles but this is not yet implemented for a variety of reasons including technical. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

If you're talking about this box (UK) I'd take the UPC-child profiles even if the children have no UPC. But apart form that they are totally identical. I can provide the UPC if needed. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | If you download the non-R2 version and update it to reflect the Disc ID's of your collection and the locality, you can submit them as new profiles that others in R2 can make use of.
It would also be a good idea to verify the copied profiles such as running time, format (PAL vs NTSC), cast, etc. |

| Posted: | | | | I got a James Bond box set along with season 1 and 2 of StarGate SGT1 the tv show. Putting in the UPC code for the box szet made it appear wrong, and both the James Bond box set and the SG1 box set .... I had to use seperate UPC codes for EACH DVD case. Not wghat I wanted, but better than the alternative.
PS. Got a bootleg version of Beawulf from Amazon. The subtitles were jiberish, and the special effects were wrong... the was no special effects as it adverstized in the back and the cover art was done on Kodak paper. Also, the subtitles only came in one language when the cover art, back stated french, spanish and I think another language. I got my money back, including shipping. Oh yeah, and the seal was missing. I should have know. Be aware. | | | Accept me for who I am, right or wrong. But don't try to change me !! |

If you put in the upc of the box set it will only download the box set profile, not the profiles for all the movies (or discs\episodes for tv series). You need to add/download those separately and then add them as box set contents to the box set profile. -Agrare |
