| Posted: | | | | I have been getting a couple "Image Not Available" errors in my collection and was wondering if there was a way to fix this without having to delete the entry and then re-add it? The funny thing was that I thought I'd gone through my complete collection to delete all the entries without images, uploaded it (from my home PC), then downloaded it to my work PC and now I have more entries without images. What is happeneing? Thanks |

| Posted: | | | | Have you tried Online -> Refresh Profile and Images -> Refresh Images?
And by the way: The better way to transfer a collection is via the Backup function in the file menu. The Online Collection is just for presentational purposes and only the last resort to restore a collection. Some informations aren't uploaded and get lost when you download it. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | The online shows the images that are in the online database not whats in your local database. Translation, if you have images for dvds locally but those images aren't in the online database your online listing will show the image not available. Additionally, as DJ Doena stated, using the backup function is a better way to transfer the data as a backup will include (if you select the option) all your local images.

| Posted: | | | | As per the above replies plus it may be that those images aren't yet in the database; don't forget this is all user-built so if someone hasn't submitted them they won't be there... you can submit them yourself if you'd like to help other users with these titles. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | at first glance the images look available in your online. so there could be issues with your local database. If the problem persists. try a database repair and download the cover again: form the dvd profiler menu: Tools options left hand of the options windows: utilities second option: Repair DVD Profiler Database.
if that is finished: go to a profile where you had "image not available" problem and from DVD Profiler menu: Online Refresh DVD from Invelos: Refresh Images Only this will reload that DVD cover for that profile.
If still having problems come back here with an EAN/UPC of the profile giving you trouble. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I think this might be my first post, but I was about to ask this same question. I had a few dvds lose their smaller images, but the large cover scans were still there. I actually deleted them and re-entered, but only one worked, the second one, Young Guns Special Edition, kept getting an error message and would not upload back into my database. I used Giga Wizard's instructions to repair the DVD Profiler Database, and I was able to upload the dvd back in no problem. I'll have to remember how to repair it again next time so I won't have to delete them out.
Thanks Giga Wizard! mr. b_dvd | | | Last edited: by mr. b_dvd |
