| Posted: | | | | Hi
Is there a way to run a folder out of LoadDVD as it is possible i.e. in TotalMedia Theatre? I run the ISO files but would like to open the ripped Blue-Ray folders directly to have all menu options available.
If not, is it possible to solve that with a macro?
Thanks for any advice.

| Posted: | | | | By "run a folder", do you mean to open the folder in Explorer? If so (and if LoadDVD doesn't allow to specify the folder directly), you can place a small HTML file with the following content into the folder that automatically redirects to the view of the folder itself. For LoadDVD, you then use the full path name of the HTML file. | Posted: | | | | @Goodguy - clever. Enjoy a green arrow.
@Martin_60 - wouldn't take much to add an "explore" verb, or to have the "file" option swith to explore if the path is a folder instead of a file. Edit: looks like my prior post was in error - must have looked at the wrong icon. Anyway, meet me over in the LoadDVD thread to discuss your requirement. | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Thanks goodguy
But with "open a folder" I mean the following:
In TotalMedia Theatre, a tool for playing copied DVDs from hard disk, you can i.e. directly run a Blu-Ray movie by open the folder on the hard disk. With other programs you would need first to convert the movie into a executable file like ISO and then open the file.
So it meas that with the help of LoadDVD the program TotalMedia Theatre has to start and open the specified folder that was filled in the DVD Profiler.
Do you thinkg this is possible? |

| Posted: | | | | don't have blu-ray, but after visiting there site my conclussion is the ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme only recognises a blu-ray disc when you open the folder. What is the most important file in that folder? By try and error you should be able to find out what makes ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme play a Blue-ray disc. Once yoy know this you can set the file association for that file extension to open with ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme if this is not already the case? Double click on the file should start the program. If it does play goto this thread: meet me over in the LoadDVD thread to discuss your requirement. As mediadogg asked you to do. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted.
