| Posted: | | | | DVD Profiler Mobile requires a Touchscreen. The Blackjack II Smartphone does not have a Touchscreen and is therefore not supported...thus the errors. DVD Profiler Mobile also uses MS Activesync to sync with DVD Profiler Desktop which is not supported in Windows Mobile 6. Windows Mobile 6 replaces Activesync with (WMDC) Windows Mobile Device Center. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

I'm not sure about WM 6.1 though. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

I feared that. I hope they make a non-touch version that works with WMDC. You need a touch screen device (not a non touch version). And the next version of DVD Profiler will sync directly to a memory card - so I imagine that WMDC / Active sync won't matter. (Note - this is promised, but not yet seen). ps - I had thought that the existing version synced quite happily over WMDC (which is what runs on Vista),. But I can't check it since I'm running the beta on my laptop. | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |

| Posted: | | | | I understand that a touchscreen one is needed. But I cannot afford to replace this!! They can write a one for WM for SmartPhones. Not everyone can afford a full blown PDA Phone. and BJII's are popular. | | | Thank You, Eric Vogel |

Yes "they" can, but there is only one guy developing. If he spend time on this, there is something else that will not be done. As long as other things have a higher benefit/cost ratio, those other things should be done instead (within reason, sometimes programmers want to do something interesting as well instead of slaving for the users all the time).
