Just got this message after updating a cover scan, so it won't let me contribute, and the full image still has a blu-ray banner even though slip case is ticked.

I also have problems with another DVD in that the thumnails won't show even though the full image is in the profile.

What can I do?

Regards

Please try a database repair.
You get there via DVDProfiler menu "Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Database repair ..." Choose the complete repair.

If you're using the beta version 3.5.x contributing changes to profiles isn't possible yet.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

  • right-click "View as Thumbnails" icon at the top-right in the collection list window
  • click "Rebuild Thumbnails"
  • Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

    Hi,

Apologies for bumping this very old thread, but I am experiencing similar problems. Every time I try to contribute a DVD profile with a new/better/updated set of cover-scans, the "Include Cover Scans" box is greyed-out, so I can't submit it.

I have undertaken a FULL Database Repair, using the in-built Repair Utility, which found no problems, and appears to have made no changes to my Database, so I really don't know what's going on.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem please?

Here's a silly question:  Do you have both a front and back scan of what you are trying to contribute?

    Hi Tkinnen,

In most cases yes, in one or two others, no.
