| Posted: | | | | Doing an update to Curse 2: The Bite, and Screaming Mad George is listed for Special Effects.
I'm not entirely sure how to parse the guy's name. I've never come across him before, don't own any movies he's worked on (and yes, according to IMDB and the CLT, he's just Screaming Mad George as far as I've been able to determine) and the CLT results are a mixed bag to be sure.
He's listed as such:
Screaming Mad George// for 5 profiles. Screaming/Mad/George for 5 profiles. George//Screaming Mad [Screaming Mad George] for 1 profile. Screaming Mad//George for 3 profiles.
So just about every possibility there.
Would this constitue a stage name, such as Madonna, Cher or Queen Latifah and therefore all be entered into the first name field?
Thanks for any help! | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |

| Posted: | | | | I would go for stage name. Screaming Mad George was front man for the New York punk group The Mad prior to his involvement in movies. Of course you could always try the "contact us" link at the SMG Effects, Inc. web site. | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Sweet, I got it right when I did "Bride of Re-Animator" (Pioneer SE) a few weeks ago. Now that we have the make-up effects credits, SMG will start showing up a lot more. He's worked on tons of DTV horror, and is probably the best in his budget range (you're not going to see him on the next Batman or Iron Man movie). He's also been doing it for a while. Bride of Re-Animator might be his first flick, definitly an early one, but he has stayed quite busy in those 20 years since. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

| Posted: | | | | Agree with the others: Screaming Mad George //
I would be in doubt only if it was a stage name that resembled a normal name. | | | -- Enry |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks again to everyone.
That's how I submitted the name, so if anyone takes a look at the CLT results, at least for the time being, Screaming Mad George// would have the most profile credits and hopefully more will be contributed that way. | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |
