| Posted: | | | | I'd guess that he's referring to the Media filter on the Add By Title screen. By default all formats are selected (DVD/BD/HD), but Profiler doesn't seem to retain changes to this option between sessions.
Perhaps should be a feature request... maybe by add to the settings screen alongside the defaults for regions & locality. |

| Posted: | | | | If you mean Add by title.. there is media choice drop box make your selection there by default..
If you mean by DVD Profiler.. there is filter / format selection area.. make you choice there.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | ClaudiuS,
I haven't seen the Danish version of the software but the title for the "media choice drop box" is simply 'Media' in the UK version and can be found directly to the right of the 'Locality' label.
It's the field you get to if you hit TAB three times in the Add by title popup.

| Posted: | | | | CladiuS, It's in the third row of fields when you add by title. If you are getting DVD, HD DVD and Blu-rays when you add movies, the menu should right now say DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray. Just click on the down-arrow and de-select whatever format you don't want to see.

| Posted: | | | | Yes. it's correct that I can hit TAB three times and deselect blueray and HD. But next time I open an add by title window it's there again.
Another thing that is a flaw, is that even though I Set condition to be Denmark, which is region 2, I still have to change tv-system from NTSC to PAL, when adding new DVD!! | | | Last edited: by ClaudiuS |

That's a bugbear of mine too. At the very least the program could leave it blank rather than defaulting to NTSC. |

That's a bugbear of mine too. At the very least the program could leave it blank rather than defaulting to NTSC. In itself it doesn't bother me too much; one click to select PAL whether it defaults to blank or NTSC, but I agree it would stop the occasional error when people forget to change it, as it could be automatically flagged as bad if it were left blank. One that does concern me more (which is sort of connected), because of the chances of a mistake being so large, is if you create a new profile from an old one by using "DVD -> Copy" and then "DVD -> Paste" into a new, blank profile (before changing the release date, cover etc) even if you select to Paste all the details it does NOT copy the PAL/NTSC information and leaves it as whatever the blank profile had before so (as it defaults to NTSC) if you are cloneing a PAL disc you end up with a perfect clone of the original profile except it's now NTSC... very easy to miss if you think the whole thing has been copied. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

I've been doing child profiles so that i make one base profile. Do a backup and restore that disc. Change it to Disc 6, restore again and change it to disc 5 etc. |
