| Posted: | | | | My wife and I have unfortunately split up recently and she has taken a big chunk of my DVD collection. Is there some easy way that I can select a number of DVDs in profiler and move them all to my wish list, or does it have to be done one-by-one?
Cheers

| Posted: | | | | Sorry to hear of your split.
It can be done easily. Go to each entry that you want to move and press space against them all. That should "flag" them (they'll have a tick next to them). Then go to - Collection ---> Flagged ---> Move to ---> Wish List.
Hope this helps. |

Then select --> collection --> Flagged --> Move to --> wishlist | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Can I ask a question ? I've got the exact opposite situation :-) My girlfriend and I now live together (in Geneva, Switzerland, sorry for my english writing). How can I add all HER dvd's in the collection I already built, but in a way I can later (hope not) remove ? Like a A+B= one collection, keeping a & b separate if needed ? |

| Posted: | | | | Several approaches for this...
(Mis)use the location field for this. A more efficient way would be to use tags to distinguish the DVDs. Ofcourse you could maintain/update 2 separate databases and then restore those into one master database holding your total collection. I'd go with the tags though. | | | Last edited: by soulgazer |

The question depends on whether you own identical DVDs (same UPC/EAN). If NOT: Open her collection Create a tag called "her name" Flag every DVD (CTRL-A) Collection->Flagged->Edit Tags Set her tag File->Backup Database->hers.dpb Open your collection Create a tag called "your name" Flag every DVD (CTRL-A) Collection->Flagged->Edit Tags Set your tag File->Backup Database->yours.dpb File->Restore Database->Restore Specific Profiles->Select All | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
