| Posted: | | | | When I add a BluRay to my collection the checkboxes for the vido formats PAL and NTSC are greyed out. That is correct, since PAL and NTSC don't make sense in combination with BluRays. However, BluRays are automatically tagged NTSC. If I filter my collection for "BluRay" and "PAL", the result is 0. That wouldn't be problem. But after parsing the exported XML profile in phpmyprofiler, all BluRays have the format "NTSC" which looks weird. See the screenshot Is there a solution for this? Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks in advance! Mike |

It is, however, a bug in DVDProfiler that BluRays are automatically tagged as NTSC, since these formats are not really valid for Blu Rays. This is why the checkboxes are greyed out. Or do I miss anything? Mike |

Agreed. for a Blu-ray-only release it should be <FormatVideoStandard/>instead of <FormatVideoStandard>NTSC</FormatVideoStandard>in the XML-Export Likewise inside the Profiler filtering on Blu-ray and NTSC should only turn up Combos where the DVD really is NTSC. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

cya, Mithi That being said I wouldn't wait for a solution from Invelos, I'd still fix it within phpmyprofiler. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Unfortunately, Invelos can't offer a solution:
"No solution to change this, but the FormatVideoStandard entry can be safely ignored for Blu-rays."
Coming releases of phMyProfiler will hopefully fix this.
