| Posted: | | | | Before you contribute, please take a look at the contribution rules. In the rule it states that no third party databases may be used (ie ImDB) for cast and crew. Use only the opening and end credits of the DVD or Blu-ray disc. I hpoe this helps. And Welcome to the Asylum! | Posted: | | | | There used to be a plugin, but I wouldn't recommend downloading cast and crew from IMDB. Their database is copyrighted. Also it can be completely different from the actual credits. Especially the roles listed are often way different than what you see in the credits. Also, contributing IMDB data to the Invelos database is not allowed by the rules.
Should you have a movie with missing cast and crew, you can download a profile from another region or locality, and copy cast and crew from there. It's more likely to be correct than IMDB.
After downloading another profile of the same title, double click it to edit it. Go to the cast, right click in the cast list, and select copy all cast. Close the profile, open your profile of the title, go to cast, right click in the cast list, and select paste all cast. Close the profile, and repeat the same actions for the crew list.
You can then delete the profile from the other locality. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | IMDb exists already and does NOT need to duplicated. Not to mention it's illegal. try also reading IMDb's Terms of Service. You can use IMDb for your OWN purposes, but we are a commercial database and we cannot and use their data paying a very hefty licensing fee, which is also spelled out in the terms of Service....minimum $15K per year. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! Cast/Crew Edit 2. But as others have pointed out you must not contribute that data. It's for your own personal use only. I second this. It's a fantastic program that I use for my cast in crew, LAWS BE DAMNED!!!11!1!1! Just as others have said, don't submit. Keep it local, you'll be fine and don't worry about a SWAT team hitting your house. It won't happen. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

Of course we don't know what other illegal activities are going on at your place ... So better watch out for noticeably inconspicuous Dodge vans parking in front of your house. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

So better watch out for noticeably inconspicuous Dodge vans parking in front of your house. Good point. There has been that van parked out front for a few days now... | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com
