At the personal informations should be a field where I could tick, that the new DVD or Blu-Ray is a gift. Also I would have a field aside, where I can choose the person, who is the donor.

If you own the Desk Top version of DVD Profiler you can create custom collections and have your "Gifts" in it's own Collection. As far as who it came from, that's another story. I suppose you could use the Notes field for that.
