| Posted: | | | | I will start with The Conversation. I have given this film two viewings and on those two occasions i have failed to be overly impressed. A lot of people hail this as a great metaphysical piece about guilt, the moral consequence's of our actions, and several other prevailing themes.
It it's a good commentary on all those subjects, and Gene Hackman puts in a very solid performance. But the element i think that brings the film down is Coppola's directing. Coppla is one those directors who can and has delivered some masterpieces. But his consistency is all over the place. The Conversation had the potential to be something brilliant, and that's what i think people see is the potential cause all the elements are there. But on the day Coppola just never fully showed up. |

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen I think the consensus is out on that. It sucked and even Michale Bay said it did to |
