| Posted: | | | | I bought DVD profiler in the hope that I would be able to sync my database through my MacBook. I was very disappointed when I found out the app is not compatible with MacBooks. I'm glad I only imputed a small percentage of my collection before I found this out. It is great program and easy to use but is lacking because I can not sync with my iPhone and MacBook so I will have to look for another database and write off the money i paid for the DVD profiler. |

| Posted: | | | | There is no native Mac app, it can run in windows on intel macs using parallels or boot camp, in addition some users have had success using WINE.
Also, if you are just looking to backup the iOS app - both iTunes and iCloud do this. In addition, the next version is DVD profiler for iOS will include syncing with the Invelos online database.
Hope that helps! | | | -JoN |

A bicycle tyre won't work on a car. Sorry, but before I buy a piece of software, I'm going to be sure it will work on my hardware. | | | |

How did you input your collection? And your registration does not indicate that you have bought anything. What you are saying doesn't add up. I don't understand how you bought a program, ran it on a PC, then were somehow surprised that the program doesn't also run on a Mac. Sounds fishy to me. Edit: Ok, Lewis that makes sense. I see now how he might have bought the iOS version and expected to be able to synch with a MAC OS application. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | If I understood him/her correctly what was bought was the IPhone-App.
Still the post doesn't really make sense, since the App works fine and completely independent of the Desktop version.
Probably the comment is nothing more than the expression of a wish for MacOS support. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
