| Posted: | | | | Is there a way to get a list of all the DVDs in the Invelos database? If we knew what was in there we could look for DVDs in our personal collection that are not importing info from the db whether it be a spelling issue or UPC issue. I find it hard to believe the National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation are not in the db but until we see the info in the db we have no way of knowing if there is an actual problem. |

| Posted: | | | | As far as I know there is not a way to access all the DVDs.
The title of the movie, and the one that is in the database, are taken from the DVD cover. And, at times, this may not match what you think of when you are looking for a particular movie.
Using your examples (US locality):
If you are entering by the title "Christmas Vacation" nothing comes up.
But, if you enter "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" 11 titles show up.
Or, if you enter "The Ultimate Vacation Collection" the box set of the Vacation movies shows up. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

| Posted: | | | | DVDProfiler menu "DVD -> Add to Collection -> By Title" If you set all filters to "All" you will get a total of 605.845 entries. When flagging "Search within title" you can even search for certain keywords.
For locality USA this search will give you three entries for "National Lampoon's Vacation" (1 Blu, 2 DVD) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I'm sorry if my newby question seemed to be a dumb question. If I offended anyone by asking this type of question, I apologize. Of all of the other forums I visit--and it is quite a few--I thought the purpose of the forums were to help users, not make them feel dumb.
Just so everyone knows, the information that I received and read from from the website and the help system said that the best way to enter a movie is via the UPC code. That is what I was trying to do. When I looked at the "DVD -> Add to Collection -> By Title" as mentioned above I was able to find two additional movies leaving me with 10 movies with no information and several others, such as National Lampoon's Vacation, that are not as complete as what I spent several days researching. |

Welcome to the site! Adding by UPC is the best way since different versions might be different (Sometimes even titles with the same UPC have differences!) If it isn't in there you can always add it by title and then make any needed changes and then contribute it so it will be in the database. The forums can be rough at times on new members, but there are also alot of helpful members such as Lewis_Prothero and Kathy. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

| Posted: | | | | You shouldn't feel bad at all. I've been around for years and your question brought an answer that taught me something new.
If you ever have a question, the forums are indeed the place to ask. And, there is no such thing as a "dumb question". This is coming from a computer illiterate person whose had their share of doozy questions! |

| Posted: | | | | Tv Your question leaves me a little confused trying to figure out exactly what you are experiencing and why. All of the Vacation films are in the online, even the blus that have been released. Are you after a a DVD or a blu, what upc , as much specific info as you can. The most recent releases were some kind of special edition. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Actually they re-released the Vacation movies about 6 months ago with different cover art and UPC most could be found in the dump-bin at Wal-Mart. I haven't contributed them yet. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

| Posted: | | | | They also sold the movie at Target. The UPC on my movie is 883929 156993. I just tried to add that UPC to the software and it is now in the software. When I originally set up my software, it was not there in the database. |
