| Posted: | | | | Please excuse me if this subject has arisen before. I am very new to DVD Profiler and I am using it on a Mac via Parallels and System 8.
What I want to do is have different collections for my blurays, HD-DVD and hard disk files but I am not sure if this can be done with this program.
Would appreciate any guidance on this question. |

| Posted: | | | | You can create separate databases for each different collection you have if you wish.
Just open File ----> Open Database at the top of the program, and then click on New Database...
You can then open/rename/delete your various databases by that same method.
I'm fairly sure you can only "upload" one collection to Invelos though. But you can create and backup however many you wish in the program itself.
An easier way that you may wish to try would be to add Custom Collection Categories to your single collection. Right click on the tab in the program that lists "Owned | Ordered | Wishlist", and then click Other and Edit Collection Categories.
For example, I have created "DVD-R" and "Music DVD" categories in my collection, and moved those titles to those custom category tabs.
The only bad thing about creating Custom Categories is that they won't appear in your online collection listing unless you edit them as "Globally unique" – which will then force them to appear in your standard "Owned" online collection listing. | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |
