DVDP does not play trailers, it launches a program of your choice which plays the trailers and that includes your browser which in turn launches a player of some kind. Bottom line, your player is having a problem. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the reply, it seems to launch a youtube window within profiler, and the video plays but no audio. I do have a you tube app and it plays audio, as well as my browser plays audio. In fact I can get audio from everything except whatever DVDProfiler launches happens to be muted.
Is there a way to tell what DVDP should open for the trailers?
Not sure what else to look for, I have rebooted the iPad and reinstalled my youtube app. | | | Ozzie's Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | The hard volume button is at max, I can also move it up or down but still no audio at all from afte selecting "Trailer". I get the pop up window from YouTube within DVD Profiler and the video plays but no audio at all even if I use airplay to send it to the AppleTV I get video but no audio. If plug in headphone to the ipad I do get sound on the headphones.
All other apps have normal audio including the you tube app both with or without headphones. All audio works totally normal on everything except the pop up you tube window I get via DVD Profiler. | | | Ozzie's Home Theater | | | Last edited: by Ozzie |

And while it might seem obvious, also make sure the device isn't muted. Seems like YouTube is one of those that doesn't handle the mute switch properly. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | My issue is the same as Ozzie and Newton above. Ie, sound is turned up to max in YouTube and on device but no sound comes out. |

Did you make sure the device isn't muted? That's the physical switch just above the volume buttons. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | It was the mute switch then? That would be helpful for anyone else who stumbles across this thread. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes - I had not realised that switch was there. I thought the only way to mute was the buttons on the side. |
