| Posted: | | | | So if I want to move a movie to a different classification, for example:- Comedy to Musical....I would have to alter each one individually? But I cannot see any way under the "General" tab to move a movie from one Genre to another? |

A general change wouldn't actually make sense, would it? Quote: But I cannot see any way under the "General" tab to move a movie from one Genre to another? If you doubleclick on the profile the profile editor opens In the left panel click on "General" In the lower left corner of the main-panel you will find the "Genre"-section. If the default genres don't suffice, feel free to generate new ones (custom genres are not contributable). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | I have added seven genres to my copy of the profiler. Biographical, Espionage, History, Lectures, Neo Noir, Mystery, Reality-TV. I have been thinking of adding more, example Collections for multiple movies under one title. And also added two lists, misc. and lectures. I keep all lists except the Whist List locked because the update process is broad. I have added a number of tags; just a few examples: Shipped, under TV Series: Completed, Box Set - Grand Parent, - Child, - Parent Level One - Parent Level Two | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Any advice would be appreciated, so thank you in advance! Just so we are clear, the program does not assign genres. This is a user built database so it's other users, like yourself, that decided those were the appropriate genres. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. And by the way those threads were deleted, you don't have to ask everyone whether the threadstarter is a spammer or not... | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

My suggestion would be, since you are now authorized to use the other threads, to continue posting wherever appropriate, and you will continue to get help from the community. | Posted: | | | | Thank you for the welcome.....I can't seem to access the main forum's, I have my registration details when I bought the full version, but I read somewhere on the forum that you have to create a new user account to be able to access the main forum's.....Is that correct? Or is there an easier way? I just checked again, and I can access the main forum's now (I couldn't yesterday after entering my registration details?) I haven't tried to post anything yet, but as soon as I have a problem, I will! | | | Last edited: by Willabong |
