When I was younger I more than once watch a (I think so) direct-to-video production called Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771.

It's even based on a true story.

There's a pilot (played by Scott Bacula) flying a Cessna over the pacific and due to bad weather and faulty equipment he gets lost. No land in sight, no navigation. When he's going to run out of fuel he will crash in the middle of the ocean without any hope for rescue.

Another pilot (Robert Loggia) is piloting a big Boing passenger liner and is trying to assist with the rescue by helping find the Cessna over the big ocean.

And that's about the story.

And now take this cover.

Karsten,

You live in a country where any random monster movie can be titled Frankenstein something, or King Kong something other. So should we be surprised that cover images don't exactly match to actual movie?

I know that we have a history of that but I thought it had gotten better in recent years. Speaking of random naming, the following four movies were called Karate Tiger I ... IV in Germany.

So yes, in Karate Tiger I Van Damme is the big bad while in Karate Tiger III he is a totally different character and good now.

And then there were at least 6 more Karate Tiger titles I guess, because I spotted Karate Tiger 10 on Amazon DE. And an American Karate Tiger.
