Good evening. In DVD Profiler, it would be wise to stop naming the video format of the blu-rays in "panoramic", "full screen" or other. For the blu-ray, it's 1080p and the 4K UHD is 2160p!

Blu-rays just list aspect ratio. They don't have the same video system as DVDs.

Yes, that's why it would be good to delete these names valid for the dvd for the blu-ray or make a specific box. This is confusing in software ...

These options don't show up for Blu-ray. I'm not sure what exactly you are asking for.

Yes, "panoramic" sounds weird. Ask your question in the Desktop Translations forum.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]

Isn't it just as antiquated to still have this thing called DVDProfiler?

1080p Profiler doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

At the very least, it would be nice if we could track the difference between 1080p and 1080i.

I always have problems with 1.37:1  is it wider than 1.33  ?  if so I can't get the program to say this and have to use full frame for 1.37 ..

Per contribution rules 1.37:1 is Full Frame. 1.37:1 can be entered in the profile, will show as 1.33:1 in the video format "graphic display", however the true aspect ratio shows if you change that panel to display text.
