Hi!

For a manually created box-set:
I assume it needs to be set to "none" with a value of "1"
as well the disc added to box-set ...
(is discs required to mirror what is in the box set or empty ok?)

I ask because some of the created box-sets have discs added,
and some don't. not sure what i was thinking at the time,
but if i remove the discs and still type the items in the box-set, is my collection numbers still intact???
better safe to ask then be sorry, since we don't have an "undo" button yet...

Thanks so much for the help and input.

Jeff

I honestly don't know what you're asking exactly. Could you re-phrase it please?

For a manual profile you can do anything that you want.
In your case, I'd say that the main Parent Box-Set profile would be set at '0'.
For each movie contained in that box-set, I'd set it at '1' for each movie.
Now if a disc has multiple movies on it then you can either create one profile and have all the movies contained on that one disc entered or you can create a profile for each movie contained on that disc.
Either way, I'd still set the movie profiles set to '1'.

When you talk about created box-sets, are you talking about ones that you downloaded from the main database or ones that you created manually. If it's ones that you downloaded, some will and some won't have child profiles available. Depends if someone contributed them yet or not.

As far as your last question, I don't know since I don't use collection numbers, so have no idea if they'd remain intact.

Karsten and Cubbyups,
Thank you both for your kindness in replying...
The collections are ones that are manually created, but the concern ones have
discs add in the disc section. These discs are movies that are from the database profiles,
put into manually created boxsets (such as a favorite director)....
